වසර 2500කින් අනාගතයේ දවසක් එනවා මනුස්සලෝකේ මිනිස්සු බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ වදාල සතර පද ගාථාවක එක පදයක්වත් නොදන්නා දවසක්. එදවස තමයි ගෞතම බුද්ධ සාසනය අතුරුදහන් වෙලා යන "වෙසක් පෝය" දවස. අපගේ බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ අවසාන පිරිණිවන් පෑම වූ "ධාතු පරිණිර්වාණය" සිද්ධ වෙන දවස. එදා තමයි ඔබට,මට මේ භද්‍ර කල්පයේ පහල වූ ගෞතම සම්මා සම්බුදුන්ගේ අසිරිමත් රූපය දකින්න ලැබෙන අවසාන දවස. එදාට, මහියංගනය සෑයේ වැඩ ඉන්න ග්‍රීවා ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, දීඝවාපියේ වැඩ ඉන්න නිය ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, සේරුවාවිල වැඩ ඉන්න ලලාට ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, මිහින්තලේ වැඩ ඉන්න ඌර්ණ රෝම ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, මුතියංගන සෑයේ වැඩ ඉන්න මුක්තක ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, දළදා මාළිගාවේ වැඩ ඉන්න දළදා වහන්සේ, ථූපාරාමේ වැඩ ඉන්න අකු ධාතුන් වහන්සේ, සෝමාවතියේ වැඩ ඉන්න දළදා වහන්සේ, ඇතුලු ලංකාද්වීපයේ වැඩ ඉන්න සියලු අස්ථි ධාතුන් වහන්සේලාද,කේෂ ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා අහසට පැන නැගී,රුවන්වැලි මහා සෑයේ ධාතු ගර්භයට වැඩම කරනවා. රුවන්වැලි සෑ ගර්භයේ සිංහ තෙලෙන් දැල්වෙන පහන් හතරක් තියෙනවා. දුටුගැමුණු රජතුමා ගර්භයේ ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා තැන්පත් කල දවසේ සිට මේ දක්වා ඒ පහන් දැල්වෙනවා. එදින පහන් හතර ද නිවී යනවා. මහා සෑයෙන් අහසට පැන නගින ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා නූලක ඇමිණු මුතුපොටක් සේ, නාගදීපයට වැඩම කරයි. නාගදීප සෑයේ ඇති මිණිපළඟ මත ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා වැඩ හිඳින අතර නාරජවරුන් පෙරටු කරගෙන දිව්‍ය නාගයන් පැමිණ සත්කාර කරනු ලබයි. මිණිපළඟත් සමඟ අහසට පැන නගින ලංකාද්වීපයේ සියලු ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා අනතුරුව දඹදිව බුද්ධගයාවේ ජයශ්‍රී මහා බෝධීන් වහන්සේගේ භූමීයට වැඩම කරයි. එහිදි, නාගලෝක වලද, දිව්‍යලෝක වලද,බ්‍රහ්ම ලෝකවලද, දඹදිවද,අනෙක් රටවල් වලද ඇති සියලු ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා බෝමැඬ මූලයට වැඩම කරයි. එකෙණෙහි, බෝධිමූලය අසලින් පොළව පලාගෙන වජිරාසනය අහසට පැන නගී. වජිරාසනය මත සියලු ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා එකතු වී දෙතිස්මහා පුරුෂ ලකුණින්ද,අසූවක් අනුව්‍යාංජනයෙන් යුක්ත වූ සම්බුදු සිරුර මැවේ. ඒ මොහෝතේ දස දහසක් ලෝකධාතුව බබලවමින් බුද්ධ රශ්මිය විහිදෙයි. ඒ ආලෝකය දකින දිව්‍ය බ්‍රහ්මයෝ “අද අපගේ බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ ධාතු පරිනිර්වාණය සිදුවන දවසයි” වහා ම නොයෙකුත් පූජාවන් ද ගෙන දෙව් බඹුන් ද සමඟින් බෝමැඩට රැස්වෙති. එවිට ඒ සම්බුදුරුව අහසට පැන නැග යමා මහ පෙළහර දක්වා අහසින් බැස වජ්‍රාසනය මත වැඩ හිඳියි. එසේ වැඩහිඳ කුරවි නාදයක් බඳු බ්‍රහ්මස්වරය අවසන් වරට ව්වර කරමින් භාග්‍යවතුන් වහන්සේ දෙව් බඹුන්ට ධර්ම දේශනා කරන්නේය. මේ අසිරිමත් සිදුවීම, මනුලොව කිසිදු මිනිසෙකුට නොදැකිය හැකි අතර දෙව් බඹුන් පමණක් දකිති. එදා සම්බුද්ධත්වයට පත් වන මොහෝතේ මෙන් දිස්වෙන බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ දර්ශනයෙන් රැස්ව සිටින අසංඛ්‍යයක් පමණ වූ දෙවියන් බඹුන් මාර්ගඵල අවබෝධ කරන්නට භාග්‍යවන්ත වේ. අනතුරුව ධාතු ශරීරයෙන් බ්‍රහ්මලෝකය දක්වාම පැන නගින මහත් වූ ගිනි ජාලාවකින් ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා ආදාහනය වන්න පටන් ගනියි. මෙය දකින සක්වළ දෙවිවරු “මේ අපගේ බුදුරජුන්ගේ අවසාන දර්ශනය යි. කල්ප අසංඛෙය්‍යකින්වත් දකින්නට නොලැබෙන බුදු කෙනෙක් අද අතුරුදන් වෙයි. ලෝකය හිස් වුණා” කියමින් හඬමින් කඳුළු වගුරුවති. ඒ මොහොතේ අබ ඇටයක් තරම් ධාතූන් වහන්සේ නමක් ඉතිරි නොවී සියලුම ධාතුන් වහන්සේලා අළුවත් දැලිවත් ඉතුරු නොවී ආදාහනය වෙති. සියලු ධාතු දැවුණු විට ගිනිකඳ අතුරුදන් වී ලෝකයේ පිළිම ඇත්ද ඒ සියල්ල අතුරුදහන් වෙයි. සියලු ශ්‍රිපද ලකුණු අතුරුදහන් වි යයි. ධාතු පරිණිර්වාණයත් සමඟ අප ගෞතම අරහත් සම්මා සම්බුදු රජාණන් වහන්සේගේ බුද්ධ සාසනය සම්පූර්ණයෙන් අතුරුදහන් වී යයි. චාතුම්මහාරාජික දෙව්ලොව දවසක් කියන්නේ මනුස්ස ලේකෙ අවුරුදු 50ක්. ඒ දෙවිවරුන්ට දවස් 50කින් ධාතු පරිණිර්වාණය දැක ගන්න පුලුවන්. තව්තිසාවේ දෙවිවරුන්ට දවස් 25කින් දැක ගන්න පුලුවන්. යාම දෙව්ලොව දෙවියන්ට දවස් 12කින් බුදුන් දැකගන්න පුලුවන්.

There will come a day in the future, 2500 years from now, when people in the world will not know a single verse of the four-line stanza spoken by the Buddha. That day will be the day of "Vesak Poya" when the Gautama Buddha Sasana will disappear.

The day when the final Parinirvana of our Buddha, the "Dhatu Parinirvana", will occur. That day will be the last day that you and I will be able to see the wonderful form of Gautama Samma Sambuddha who appeared in this Bhadra Kalpa. On that day, the Griva relic in Mahiyanganaya, the Niwa relic in Dighavapi, the Lalata relic in Seruvawila, the Urna Roma relic in Mihintale, the Muktaka relic in Muthiyangana, the Dalada Maligawa relic in Thuparama, the Aku relic in Somavati, and all the bone and hair relic in Sri Lanka will rise into the sky and ascend to the relic chamber of the Ruwanweli Maha Seya. There are four lamps lit with lion's fat in the relic chamber of the Ruwanweli Seya. Those lamps have been lit since the day King Dutugemunu placed the relics in the chamber until now. On that day, the four lamps will also go out. The relics that rise into the sky from the Mahasaya reach the Nagadeepa like pearls strung on a string. The relics sit on the mini-palan in the Nagadeepa, and divine serpents, led by the Narajas, come and pay their respects. All the relics of Lanka that rise into the sky with the mini-palan then reach the Jayashree Maha Bodhi Thera in Dambadi, Bodh Gaya. There, all the relics from the Naga world, the divine world, the Brahma world, Dambadi, and other countries reach the Bodhi root. At that moment, the ground near the Bodhi root flies away and the Vajrasana rises into the sky. On the Vajrasana, all the relics gather and form the body of the Buddha, with the thirty-two great signs of man and eighty anuyanjanas. At that moment, the Buddha's radiance spreads, illuminating ten thousand world relics. Seeing that light, the divine brahmas say, "Today is the day when the relics of our Lord Buddha will pass away," and immediately gather at the Bomada with various offerings and devas. Then the Buddha leaps into the sky, descends from the sky in a great procession, and sits on the Vajrasana. Sitting thus, the Blessed One, sounding the Brahma-song for the last time, like a crow's song, preaches the Dhamma to the devas. This wonderful event is not seen by any human being in the world, but only by devas. At that time, countless gods and goddesses gathered at the Buddha's temple, who appeared like a moment of enlightenment, were fortunate enough to realize the fruit of the path. Then, a great flame rose from the Buddha's body to the Brahma world, and the relics began to burn. Seeing this, the Sakvala gods cried and shed tears, saying, "This is the last vision of our Buddha. A Buddha who has not been seen for countless kalpas will disappear today. The world has become empty." At that moment, not a single relic of the Buddha remains, not even a grain of mustard seed remains, but all the relics are burned without leaving even ashes or ashes. When all the relics are burned, the fire disappears and all the idols in the world disappear. All the signs of the Buddha's path disappear. With the parinirvana of the relics, the Buddha's Sasana of our Gautama Arahant, the Perfect Buddha, completely disappears. A day in the Chatummaharajika heaven is 50 human years. Those gods can see the Dhatu Parinirvana in 50 days. The gods of Tavatissa can see it in 25 days. The gods of Yama heaven can see the Buddha in 12 days. The goddesses of Thusita heaven, where the Bodhisattva, Dutugemunu, and Saddatissa kings reside, can see the Buddha in another 6 days. The god Nimmarathi can see the Buddha in 3 days, and the god Parinimmita Vasavarti can see the Buddha in one and a half days. These gods not only have the fortune of seeing the Buddha, but also of hearing the Buddha's Dhamma and realizing the path! If someone who does good deeds in the human world, someone who practices the Dhamma, dies without realizing the path in this life, they are often reborn in heaven. They will see the last vision of the Buddha in at least 2 months or a few days. From that last vision, they will understand the path and the fruit of the path.

भविष्य में, आज से 2500 साल बाद, एक दिन ऐसा आएगा जब दुनिया के लोगों को बुद्ध के बोले गए चार लाइन के श्लोक का एक भी श्लोक याद नहीं होगा। वह दिन "वेसाक पोया" का दिन होगा जब गौतम बुद्ध का शासन समाप्त हो जाएगा।

वह दिन जब हमारे बुद्ध का आखिरी परिनिर्वाण, "धातु परिनिर्वाण" होगा। वह दिन आखिरी दिन होगा जब आप और मैं इस भद्र कल्प में प्रकट हुए गौतम सम्बुद्ध के अद्भुत रूप को देख पाएंगे। उस दिन, महियांगनया में ग्रिवा अवशेष, दिघवापी में नीवा अवशेष, सेरुवाविला में लालता अवशेष, मिहिंटाले में उरना रोमा अवशेष, मुथियांगना में मुक्ताका अवशेष, थुपारामा में दलदा मालिगावा अवशेष, सोमवती में अकु अवशेष, और श्रीलंका में सभी हड्डी और बाल अवशेष आसमान में उठेंगे और रुवानवेली महा सेया के अवशेष कक्ष में चढ़ेंगे। रुवानवेली सेया के अवशेष कक्ष में शेर की चर्बी से चार दीपक जलाए गए हैं। वे दीपक उस दिन से जल रहे हैं जब राजा दुतुगेमुनु ने अवशेषों को कक्ष में रखा था, तब से अब तक। उस दिन, चारों दीपक भी बुझ जाएंगे। महाशय से आसमान में उठने वाले अवशेष नागदीप तक ऐसे पहुंचते हैं जैसे धागे में पिरोए गए मोती। अवशेष नागदीप में मिनी-पालन पर रखे जाते हैं, और दिव्य नाग, नरजस के नेतृत्व में, आकर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देते हैं। लंका के सभी अवशेष जो मिनी-पालन के साथ आसमान में उठते हैं, फिर बोधगया के दंबडी में जयश्री महा बोधि थेरा तक पहुँचते हैं। वहाँ, नाग दुनिया, दिव्य दुनिया, ब्रह्म दुनिया, दंबडी और दूसरे देशों के सभी अवशेष बोधि मूल तक पहुँचते हैं। उस समय, बोधि मूल के पास की ज़मीन उड़ जाती है और वज्रासन आसमान में उठ जाता है। वज्रासन पर, सभी अवशेष इकट्ठा होते हैं और बुद्ध का शरीर बनाते हैं, जिसमें बत्तीस महान पुरुष चिह्न और अस्सी अनुयांजनाएँ होती हैं। उस समय, बुद्ध की चमक फैलती है, जो दस हज़ार विश्व अवशेषों को रोशन करती है। उस रोशनी को देखकर, दिव्य ब्रह्मा कहते हैं, "आज वह दिन है जब हमारे भगवान बुद्ध के अवशेष गुज़र जाएँगे," और तुरंत अलग-अलग भेंट और देवों के साथ बोमाडा में इकट्ठा होते हैं। फिर बुद्ध आसमान में छलांग लगाते हैं, एक बड़े जुलूस के साथ आसमान से नीचे उतरते हैं, और वज्रासन पर बैठ जाते हैं। इस तरह बैठकर, भगवान आखिरी बार ब्रह्म-गीत गाते हैं, जैसे कौवे गाते हैं, और देवताओं को धम्म का उपदेश देते हैं। यह अद्भुत घटना दुनिया में किसी इंसान ने नहीं, बल्कि सिर्फ देवताओं ने देखी है। उस समय, बुद्ध के मंदिर में अनगिनत देवी-देवता इकट्ठा हुए, जो ज्ञान के पल की तरह दिखाई दिए, वे रास्ते के फल को महसूस करने के लिए काफी खुशकिस्मत थे। फिर, बुद्ध के शरीर से ब्रह्म लोक तक एक बड़ी लौ उठी, और अवशेष जलने लगे। यह देखकर, शकल देवता रोए और आंसू बहाते हुए बोले, "यह हमारे बुद्ध का आखिरी दर्शन है। एक बुद्ध जो अनगिनत कल्पों से नहीं देखा गया है, आज गायब हो जाएगा। दुनिया खाली हो गई है।" उस पल, बुद्ध का एक भी अवशेष नहीं बचा, सरसों का एक दाना भी नहीं बचा, लेकिन सभी अवशेष बिना राख या राख छोड़े जल गए। जब सभी अवशेष जल जाते हैं, तो आग गायब हो जाती है और दुनिया की सभी मूर्तियाँ गायब हो जाती हैं। बुद्ध के रास्ते के सभी निशान गायब हो जाते हैं। अवशेषों के परिनिर्वाण के साथ, हमारे गौतम अरहंत, परफेक्ट बुद्ध का बुद्ध का शासन पूरी तरह से गायब हो जाता है। चातुम्हाराजिका स्वर्ग में एक दिन 50 इंसानी सालों के बराबर होता है। वे देवता 50 दिनों में धातु परिनिर्वाण देख सकते हैं। तवतीस्सा के देवता इसे 25 दिनों में देख सकते हैं। यम स्वर्ग के देवता 12 दिनों में बुद्ध को देख सकते हैं। थुसिता स्वर्ग की देवियाँ, जहाँ बोधिसत्व, दुतुगेमुनु और सद्दातिस्सा राजा रहते हैं, बुद्ध को और 6 दिनों में देख सकती हैं। भगवान निम्मारथी 3 दिनों में बुद्ध को देख सकते हैं, और भगवान परिनिमित वासवर्ती डेढ़ दिन में बुद्ध को देख सकते हैं। इन देवताओं को न केवल बुद्ध को देखने का सौभाग्य मिला है, बल्कि बुद्ध के धम्म को सुनने और रास्ते को समझने का भी सौभाग्य मिला है! अगर कोई इंसान जो इंसानी दुनिया में अच्छे काम करता है, कोई जो धम्म का पालन करता है, इस जीवन में रास्ता समझे बिना मर जाता है, तो वे अक्सर स्वर्ग में दोबारा जन्म लेते हैं। वे कम से कम 2 महीने या कुछ दिनों में बुद्ध के आखिरी दर्शन करेंगे। उस आखिरी दर्शन से, वे रास्ता और रास्ते के फल को समझेंगे।
